PSG supports U.S. Government agencies and their contractors
with Chemical and Biological Warfare (CBW) and Terrorism (CBT) related
services. Broadly these include: research, analysis, consultation, information
management, exercise support and training programs.
RESEARCH, ANALYSIS AND
CONSULTATION SERVICES
PSG has completed numerous CBW & CBT related research
and analysis projects exploring various topics including the following:
- Characteristics of CB Munitions and Subsystems
- Munition Employment Concepts
- Foreign Weaponization Programs
- Vulnerability of Certain Facilities
- Quantification of CB Terrorism
- Indication and Warning Criteria for CB Terrorism
- Agent Production and Weaponization Signatures
PSG personnel have supported numerous U.S. Government
agencies with on-site, expert consultation services. Examples of these projects
include the following:
- Inspection trip to Croatia, Bosnia and various Central
Asian Republics.
- Expert consultation in support of investigations
regarding the importation and exportation of CBW related materials.
- Debriefings of foreign nationals involved in CBW
activities.
- On-site technical assistance for Technical Escort
Unit.
- Participation in brain-storming groups working on new
technologies for biological agent detection.

EXERCISE SUPPORT
SERVICES
PSG is actively involved in CBW, CBT and WMD exercise
support. In this context, we have provided support to numerous Federal and
State level organizations. These services have included:

Chemical and Biological Terrorism/Weapons of Mass
Destruction Exercise Experience:
- Exercise munition design for a DoD agency, 1999.
- Subject matter expert and scenario development for the
ongoing BALTEX series of exercises - Baltimore, Maryland, 1997-1998.
- Overall exercise controller, scenario development and
subject matter expert for the Baseline Exercise, New Haven, Connecticut,
November 1997.
- Scenario development and subject matter expert for
Exercise Terminal Breeze - Washington, DC Metro Area, September 1996.

TRAINING
SERVICES
PSG personnel have presented dozens of CBW/CBT related
briefings, lectures and multi-day seminars to well over one thousand personnel
in the intelligence, research, medical and military operations fields. PSG
currently conduct a series of multi-day CBW/CBT seminars for security, law
enforcement, military, intelligence, medical and emergency response personnel.
These seminars cover the following topics:
